There are slight setbacks in the second half, where the filmmaker has tried to introduce too many twists. The story is refreshing when compared to the usual fare being dished out. In the first half, the film presents itself as a love story with three characters, Preethi, Sneha and Santosh - the names literally symbolising Love, Friendship and Happiness. Face 2 Face is an interesting film that keeps you engaged for most of the time. Does this work? It does, to a large extent. Like Upendra, Sandeep also tries to approach many things that are atypical to the conventional approach.

And there are ample instances in the film that reiterate this connect.
